A fabulous second half allows Sanjoanense to lift their first WSE Cup Women. The 5-1 victory was born in the first half with Reyes’s goal, but the decisive break came at the start of the second half with goals from Sad and Teixeira (3-0) in less than a minute. Voltregà got into the match with Bosch, but the last two goals were scored by Portuguese players, Teixeira and Costa, to the delight of the numerous crowd in the stands. It’s the second european trophy after the Cups’ Cup Men (1985-86).
