Barça and Benfica are the only teams alone at the top of the table

The third day of the WSE Champions League changed many destinies of the group phase. The destinies of Barça and Benfica did not change as they confirmed their solitary leadership at the head of group C and A, respectively. The leader in the Ok Liga standings won 5-0 against the Italian Lodi (2 goals for Rodrigues and Alabart) and the first in the Placard Portuguese Championship prevailed 5-2 on the difficult rink of Oliveirense, under the blows in the second half from Di Benedetto and Alvarez. In Group A, the first victory of the Liceo that manages to beat Parlem Calafell 4-3 and now has the same points as Oliveirense. Porto Fidelidade also manages to achieve its first victory by winning 5-0 against the Italian Sarzana, finally finding its full formation. The tie between Noia Freixenet and Trissino for 4-4 (3 goals for Costa, 2 for Cocco), puts three teams within five points, where the Portuguese team has an advantage of one goal in average goals, but it will be an extremely balanced group. Even more daring were the two away victories for two teams in Group D. Reus Deportiu Virginias surprised Sporting at home for 7-5 (4 goals from Aragones), thanks to a super first half. The french Saint Omer violate the Barcelos rink for 5-4, this time thanks to a more precise second half by the Portuguese (2 goals of Pellizzari). Sporting and Reus are now top of the group with 6 points, the others with 3 each. In Group C, where Barça stands out as the only team with three victories, Valongo Colquimica and Hockey Forte drew a very even game 4-4, keeping themselves within 4 points of second place.
In two weeks the fourth day where these challenges will be repeated and could already define the top qualifiers at the Final Eight in May.
