Barça and Sporting, the only teams with full points after two rounds in WSE Champions League

It was substantially a day full of balance with three ties and only two truly decisive victories. In all this balance, two teams stand out which are the only ones with full points, namely Sporting and Barça. Dominguez’s team prevailed only in a decisive second half 7-3 in France against Saint Omer (five goals by Ferran Font). Barça won on the Valongo “San Siro” bowl by 5-3, in a very difficult match which they managed to control in the second half. Sporting is first with six points in group D, Barça in group C. The rest of the second matchday was marked by balance. Two ties were recorded in Group A which kept the situation of the first matchday unchanged: Oliveirense drew 1-1 in Calafell while Benfica drew 3-3 at the Liceo. In Group B, an unusual 0-0 draw between Noia Freixenet and Porto Fidelidade collecting the second consecutive draw. Now in the lead with four points are Noia and Trissino, who won 7-3 in the Italian derby against Gamma Innovation Sarzana (2 goals from Cocco and Pinto). In Group C, Forte dei Marmi beat Lodi 3-2 in a comeback and now have the same points as Valongo, while in Group D, Barcelos won against Reus Deportiu Virginias 3-1, equalizing the points with the Spanish. The next day in two weeks the possibility for Barça and Sporting in the two home rounds to move decisively forward in the standings. The big matches will be Oliveirense-Benfica, Noia-Trissino and Valongo-Forte dei Marmi.
