The first round of the WSE Champions League recorded the first victories of the favorite teams to reach the qualification. In Group A, Barça confirmed its superiority against Deportivo Liceo by 8-2 (four goals by Joao Rodrigues), while in the second match, OC Barcelos won 2-1 against Centro Porsche Firenze Versilia H.Forte ( the goals of Rampulla and Vieira were decisive). In Group B, Parlem Calafell played on par with SL Benfica who however managed to win 17 minutes from the end with Pablo Alvarez’s goal after Nicolia’s twice. Sporting CP won 5-2 on the Reus Deportiu Virginias track, taking their first three points (twice for Bridge and Romero). Group C was balanced, where the match between Finques Prats Lleida and Tomar IPT ended in a draw (3-3), while FC Porto Fidelidade overcame Italians Trissino only 8 minutes from the end with Rafa Costa’s goal (as the twice Di Benedetto), and is now leading the group with 3 points. Great success for the French of SCRA Saint-Omer at Amatori Wasken Lodi: an excellent second half allows the French to have three points in the standings. Oliveirense Simoldes also has three points, defeating Valongo Colquimica 4-2 (3 goals for Lucas Martinez)
