Fraga against Vila-Sana is the Final of WSE Champions League Women

The Final tomorrow at 12:00 at the Palacio De Los Deportes Riazor will be between two teams who have never lifted the WSE Champions League Women. Vila-sana returns to the final after a year while for Fraga it is the first time, starting the path from the Preliminary Round.

Brilliant start for Vila-sana Coop d’Ivars with the first goal from Argentine Luciana Agudo with a shot from medium distance. Generali Palau’s pressure becomes more and more suffocating play after play: in the 11th minute, Fontdegloria hits the post in the penalty shot and the first half ends 1-0. Palau’s dominance of the game is still important in the second half. After one minute of the second half, a penalty shot was not scored by Porta for Vila-sana and a direct shot was not scored by Florenza. The opportunities are now similar but the goal still belongs to Rodero’s team with the goal by Gimena Gomez who intercepts the ball in the center of the rink and manages to make it 2-0 on the counterattack. A few seconds later Vila-Sana closed the match with a high-quality goal from Daiana Silva for the final 3-0 and confirmation as a finalist for the second time in a row

Lots of balance in the second semi-final, which was only broken in the second half. A match with several chances from both teams but up to that point the best on the pitch were the two goalkeepers, Ferrer and Caretta. It was  Maria Sanjurjo who broke the deadlock but above all was decisive in qualifying for the final. The first goal came in the 8th minute with a quick action in the area, then in the 11th minute she scored the second goal in the powerplay, concluding a fast team action. Coruña tried in every way to get back into the match, but can no longer score a goal. The match ended 2-0 and it was the first time in a final for Esneca Fraga

The final will be broadcast on TV Esport3 and streamed on http://europe.worldskate.tv
