Great emotions expected in the Finals Day of the Under 17 WSE Euro Women

It’s time for the final in Olot for the Under 17 WSE Euro Women. The very first in this category Spain-Portugal (19:00) for the Gold Medal Final, Italy and France will fight for the last medal available (15:00), the Bronze, then Germany and England will try to catch the 5th place (11:00).

Spain makes it five out of five in this first edition in which it participates. Another success bearing the signature of Elsa Salvaña, two more goals for the top scorer of the European tournament, and Xenia Matas. One for Vila and Ferrer concluding 6-0 the last game of qualification.
Fourth victory for Portugal but France was ahead for a large portion of the match with the goal from a penalty shot by Cayol in the first half. However, in the last part of the match, the Portuguese team put another pace on the floor, first managing to equalize in a penalty killing thanks to a quick action by Machado and then overcoming their opponent with a direct shot goal two minutes from the end from Rute Santos for the final 2-1.
Italy achieved an easy 5-1 victory against England to secure their second Bronze Medal Final in two editions. Hat-trick for Messora, a goal for Cazzola and Rubega, while Fraser’s goal for England.
