Last round to snatch a ticket for the WSE Champions League Final Eight

Last matchday of the WSE Champions League which will be played simultaneously on eight venues across Europe at 20:00 (GMT+1) and 21:00 (CEST). There are four teams that can already count on one of the eight tickets for the Final Eight in Viana do Castelo (Portugal) and the other four places will be decided in the last 50 minutes. Barça, Benfica, Porto and Trissino are already qualified, even if Trissino and Porto will face each other in Italy to decide who will be able to be in the first place and therefore not play against Benfica, one of the unbeaten in the group’s stage. It’s an important moment for Deportivo Liceo and Oliveirense, the most decisive match of this last day: a tie is enough for the Portuguese to access the Final Eight while a victory is mandatory for the Spaniards. As far as Group C is concerned, Valongo Colquimica has a decided advantage in the standings, despite being level on points with Forte dei Marmi: they have the advantage of having 4 more goals (on overall goal difference) than the Italians and of playing against the already eliminated Lodi, while the Forte dei Marmi will have to play against the first in the standings and in addition to a forced victory, they need an important result in terms of goals. In Group D, Reus Deportiu Virginias has the obligation of victory in France in Saint-Omer to hope for a defeat of the top two in the standings, Barcelos and Sporting, who only need a draw to qualify both, respectively against second and first. After these 50 minutes, there will be only three weeks to wait for the first quarter-final on May 4th in Portugal.
