Manlleu wins in A Coruña; Vila-sana, Gijon and Cerdanyola, first victories

The big match of the first day was won by Martinelia Manlleu, capable of beating HC Liceo 3-1, thanks to three goals from Bullò, Comas and Gurri. First victory also for Vila-sana, winning 5-2 against the Portuguese Academico de Feira with three goals by Argentine world champion Luciana Agudo. First large victories for Cerdanyola Fenie Energia and Telecable Gijon. The first won 10-0 against the French Nantes Loire-Atlantique Vendee thanks to three goals from Castro, Gemma Sole and Martin. Instead, the European runners-up of Gijon won 9-0 against the Italian champions of Valdagno: striker Sara Roces signs four goals and is the new best scorer of the WSE Champions League Women. Two goals also for Sara Lolo and Almeida.
Appointment in exactly two weeks for the second day where the European champions of Generali Palau Plegamans will make their debut on the Portuguese rink of Academico de Feira. Debut also for Benfica on the rink of the French Nantes Loire-Atlantique Vendee, while the Italians of Valdagno will face Coutras. Martinelia Manlleu, on the other hand, will play at home against the French Noisy Le Grand.
