Portugal-England is the first historic gold medal final of the Under 17 Women WSE Euro

The final day of the qualifying round register Portugal with the third victory 6-1 over France. A long monologue for Helder Antunes’ girls against the last in the standings, France. After the double Portuguese advantage with the goals of Machado and Folgado, the French Petillon reduced the gap but Machado again brought forward with the double advantage. In the second half Silva, Moreira and Machado bring the score up to 6-1, reaching 10 in the standings, ahead of the qualifying round. The opponents of the first historical final are England. Cardoso’s girls also remained unbeaten on the last day (8 points in the standings) with a great defensive sacrifice game that didn’t allow Italy to score a goal that allowed them to reach the final. An unprecedented final that will award the first women’s title at 21:00. Italy against Germany will fight for the Bronze medal (17:00).
