A really intense and very balanced first day of play in the two groups of the European Championship WSE. The day opened with the victory at the photofinish of Andorra, who wins 2 seconds from the end against Germany, thanks to the Castellvi goal (Twice as Miquel) with the final 4-5. The 1-1 draw between Switzerland and Austria is surprising: the Alpine derby ends in a tie, thanks to Wally’s goal and Rui’s draw. Andorra is unique with full score in group B. Also prevailing balance in group B. Two players decide, Casas for Spain and Verona for Italy.. Spain beats France 2-1 with the decisive goals from Casas and Roca in the first half, while Italy wins 2-3 against the hosts, with Malagoli scoring two.
It is only the qualifying group and the first of six days of play. The second day features Germany-Austria (14:00) and Andorra-Switzerland (16:00) for Group B, while Group A includes Italy-Spain (19:00) and Portugal-France (21:45), another day of passion for Rink Hockey.
