Italy attempted to catch up with Spain, but Varres’s team scored goals at crucial moments, resulting in a 4-3 victory. Portugal, under Freitas, secured their first win against Switzerland with an impressive score of 8-1, where Lucas Honorio was the standout player, netting five goals (top scorer of the tournament). Group B was dominated by France, who defeated Germany 7-1, thanks to a hat trick from Rouze. The third and final qualifying round will kick off with the match between Germany and England at 15:30, followed by Italy versus Switzerland at 18:00, and will conclude with the Iberian derby at 20:30.
