Italy and France have tried to scratch the superiority demonstrated in the last 10 years, always finding the final of the Under 17 tournament, but in the first face-to-face, the two Iberian dominators have still shown that they are the teams to beat. Spain was more prolific, conquering a conspicuous victory against the hosts, supported by a great audience in the National Day of France (three goals for Bouda). Afonso and Martim Oliveira instead marked the Lusitanian victory against Italy by 2-1. Only in the end did the “Azzurri” team manage to score their first goal, in an intense games with several occasions. Switzerland managed to win 2-1 against Germany, working to overturn the result of the first half that had been in favour of the Germans. Sahli and Meier overcome after Paczia’s goal.
Tomorrow, we start with the debut of England, who will face Switzerland, who can already secure the first place in Group B. At 17:00 another classic Italy-Spain as it will close Portugal-France at 21:00, both valid for the Group A
