It was a very intense day, the last qualification. Italy won its first match against Switzerland 5-2 (Hat-Trick for Crocco), while Germany won 5-4 against England in the last seconds (Heinrichs’s goal). Outstanding “Clasico” in the Ateneu: Portugal advanced 1-3, but in the second half, Spain overturned the opponent and conquered the third victory with Copa’s “Poker”.
The quarter-finals will be the highlight of Thursday: Suisse-France (15:30), Italy-Germany (18:00), and Portugal-England (20:30). The direct elimination phase begins,
and those who win fly to the semifinal.
