Portugal won in extremis against France (decisive open-goal goal by Gonçalves) and secured second place, thus challenging Spain again. A great match for the French side, but they did not manage to win to reach the final: they will have to settle for the bronze medal match against Italy, who finished in third place just ahead of France. Today, the Italian team won 3-0 against Germany (two goals from Cazzola). Spain, on the other hand, confirmed its superiority against England, winning 6-0 (four goals for Rovira). Saturday is the Finals Day: at 11:30 the Final 5th/6th place Germany-England, at 15:30 the Final 3rd/4th place Italy-France and at 19:30 the Final 1st/2nd place Spain-Portugal
The top scorer of the tournament is always the Portuguese Luisa Araujo with 9 goals, and the French Solene Cayol and Juliita Rovira with 7 goals and then Mar VIla (Spain) with 6.
