The last two places for the eight best clubs in Europe were conquered by Sporting and Lodi. The Portuguese won 3-2 against Reus Deportiu Virginias, thanks to a flawless part of the match with goals from Romero, Souto and Bessa, while the Italians won in France at Saint-Omer 0-2 (Nadini and Faccin). They will accompany the other six clubs to play on March 14th between five Portuguese, two Italian and one Spanish: Sporting-Barça, Lodi-Porto, Barcelos-Benfica and Trissino-Oliveirense.
The group winners win all their matches, thus confirming their leadership. In Group A Barça wins at Liceo 4-2 (two goals for Alabart and Grau), in Group B Benfica wins 3-0 in Calafell (Alvarez, Ordonez and Manruba), in Group C Porto Fidelidade wins in Italy in Trissino 5-3 (hat-trick for Nunes) while in Group D Oliveirense Simoldes wins in Valongo 8-3 (two goals for Di Benedetto Bruno)
