The only team that remains unscathed is Benfica, the sole unbeaten side after the first stage of the group. Castro’s team secured another victory against Liceo. Meanwhile, the previously unbeaten Porto fell to a strong Barça performance, who now lead Group A. In the other matches, several games were entertaining and closely contested: Trissino and Reus won away, while Oliveirense and Bassano won at home. Group B has proven to be the most competitive so far, except for Benfica. In the top scorers standing, always Carlo Di Benedetto with 9 goals, 7 goals for Jordi Mendez (Trissino) and Joao Rodriguez (SL Benfica).
In two weeks, the same matchups will take place, but with home and away reversed.
