Women’s rink hockey is back with its new WSE Champions League Women with a new formula for 12 registered teams, four groups of three teams and six-game matchdays from January to the end of March. The best two from each group will be protagonists of the Quarterfinals, first leg on April 1st and second leg on April 15th, and the four winners will be qualified for the Final Four on April 29th and 30th 2023.
All eyes are on the two times european champions of Generali Palau Plegamans even if they will not be on the rink on the first matchday. Five Spanish women on the rink on Saturday evening, one French, one Portuguese and one Italian. The already important match for the standings is Deportivo Liceo – Martinelia Manlleu, the first of the Galicians in Europe. It is also the first appearance in Europe for Vila-sana, first in the standings in the extraordinary Spanish championship which hosts the Portuguese Academico Da Feira. First time in Europe also for the Italian Valdagno who will be the guest of the runners-up of the Telecable Gijon, projected towards the final victory. The 2022 semi-finalist Cerdanyola Fenie Energie, on the other hand, hosts the young players of Nantes Atlantique.
