The third phase of the WSE Champions League is ready to begin, all on live streaming through our WSETV, http://europe.worldskate.tv. Six rounds will decide the best eight European clubs, with two qualified from each group. The first day is already quite decisive to reach that package of points for qualifying for the Quarter Finals. It starts at 18:30 (GMT) with the first match of Group A in Lisbon between Benfica and Parlem Calafell, the respective fourth in the Placard Championship and the Spanish Ok Liga, while in Barcelona at 20:00 (CET) Barça’s debut in the OK Liga “clasico”, played just four days ago where the “Blaugrana” team clearly won 6-0.
At 20:30 (CET) there will be the historic debut of Finques Prats Lleida in the WSE Champions League after having won 3 WSE Cups which will host the surprise of the Portuguese championship, Tomar IPT. It will be a clash between the eighth of the Ok Lliga and fifth of the Placard.
The highlight of the first day will arrive as usual in the evening: at 20:00 (GMT) FC Porto Fidelidade, reigning champions and WSE Continental 2023 winner, will have their debut against the Italian champions Trissino, in a match that has already marked the qualification last season, and at the same time in Spain and Italy two more games. Reus Deportiu Virginias will have suffered its most difficult match against Sporting CP, first in the Placard championship, while the Italian Amatori Wasken Lodi (fifth in Serie A1) faces the multiple French champions SCRA Saint Omer, always in the first place in the N1 Elite.
From 21:00 (GMT) two very balanced matches will be played in Portugal. In the “Cathedral” of Barcelos will arrive the first classified of the Serie A1, the Centro Porsche Firenze VH Forte, while in Oliveira de Azemeis, the first of the Placard, Oliveirense Simoldes hosts the Valongo Colquimica (ninth in the ranking), in one of the great matches also of former players and coaches.
