Spain continues its solitary run at the top of the Under 17 WSE European Championship Women table. Another victory, the third, against Italy 3-0. A match always played on the attack by the Spanish team who found the Italian “wall” of goalkeeper Rossato to reduce the gap. Three goals, one in the first half and two in the second, by Julia Vila and Elsa Salvaña, another two goals that put her in first place in the top scorer rankings with 4 goals.
However, Portugal also confirmed a good vibe, managing to inflict a solid 4-0 against Germany. A match controlled and progressively won with a double 2-0 in both the periods. Two goals by Ana Folgado and one by Oliveira and Monteiro. The match against Italy tomorrow will be important because it will most likely decide who will play in the final for the gold medal on Saturday, as second place in the standings is up for grabs.
France, however, unlocked zero in the rankings, winning 6-0 against England, in a match never questioned. Two goals for Hillion and Cayol, and one goal for Bramoulle and Rastello.
