From Monday, 13 national teams will try to excel in the conquest of two continental trophies, men’s under-17 and women’s under-17. The host city will be the French Gujan-Mestras, already home to a European under 17 in 2014, with the organisation of Fédération Française de Roller & Skateboard. A large event with over 130 athletes from the new generation of Rick Hockey that will give life to a competition never discounted. The first two editions joined in Italy and Spain have shown the spirit of the event, in a very participatory environment.
Dualism between Spain and Portugal (for both 9 consecutive finals) will likely be the most anticipated challenge for the men’s title, but other national teams will also aim to play a leading role. In the women’s tournament, the six teams will face an all-against-all round and then define the grid for the final day. In the men’s tournament, the seven teams were divided into two groups based on the results of 2024, with Portugal emerging as the winner. The first classified of group A will be automatically qualified for the semifinals, while the others will play the quarters. Friday and Saturday will be the highlights of the event with semifinals and finals, respectively.
The 37 games scheduled will be broadcast live on WSETV (http://europe.worldskate.tv) and simultaneously on the channel of the French Federation, organiser of the event, with the voice of Josè Santos.
