Expectations met in the final round of the WSE Champions League Men qualifiers. There was no shortage of excitement, and qualification for Group B was decided in the final ten minutes. The goal by Kyllian Gil for Barcelos (6-5) and the one by Liceo from Cervera (2-2) proved decisive, turning the standings around. Oliveirense failed to qualify despite a strong performance. The record-chasing runs of Porto and Benfica ended with victories: 5-3 against Igualada and 4-2 against Bassano, respectively. Barça (4-2 over Reus) and Trissino (1-6 against Saint Omer) also confirmed their places in Group A. Among the top scorers, Carlo di Benedetto (Porto) rises to 13 goals, compared to the 10 of Jordi Mendez (Hockey Trissino).
The quarter-final pairings are: Porto-Liceo, Benfica-Reus, Barça-Sporting, and Barcelos-Trissino.
