The fifth and penultimate day of the WSE Champions League Women represents some important crossroads for the definition of the eight teams qualified for the quarter-final stage. Telecable Gijon, Generali Palau Plegamans and Astro Stuart Massama have already conquered the tickets for the Quarter-finals and other teams are close to finishing. The most important match will be between Vila-Sana Coop dIVars against SL Benfica. The Spanish are in their last attempt to try to get back into the game for qualification given that it will be the last match, after having won one on the last round against Esneca Fraga and lost two, one against Benrica (3-1). In Group B, match point for Roller Matera against the Germans IGR Remscheid, already defeated 7-2 in January. In Group C, all eyes are on Martinelia Manlleu who hosts the French Coutras, already beaten in the first leg and blocked with zero points: Even a tie would automatically qualify Coruna and Manlleu. A trip to Portugal at the home of Astro Stuart Masama for Generali Palau Plegamans after the efforts of the Intercontinental Cup in Argentina last weekend, lost only on penalties against Telecable Gijon, and the two teams from Group D have already qualified.
