Two other European competitions are also returning to the rink. The WSE Champions League Women will have its last match of the first group stage. On the third matchday, there will be two highly intriguing matches in the balanced Group B: Manlleu and Benfica (play on Sunday afternoon) have two hot matches they will need to capitalise on to confirm the top two spots. Cerdanyola-Vilasana is already a challenge for second position in Group A, but Telecable has another match to confirm itself as unbeaten and without any defeat.
Penultimate act before the Final Four in the WSE Trophy. The 1st leg will see two matches played in Switzerland, in Wimmis and Pully, one match in France in Mérignac, and in Spain, Sant Just. Four showdowns in which the home teams will try to rack up as many goals as possible for the second leg scheduled for 24 January.
