Luís Sénica, President of World Skate Europe, alongside Lídia Praça, representing the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPDJ), have officially signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding regarding the implementation of the White Card | Fairplay Card. This strategic agreement establishes a robust and enduring joint commitment between IPDJ and WSE to actively champion core values such as ethics, respect, and fair play across the entire sports community.
Building upon a shared vision for sporting integrity, this Memorandum represents a significant strengthening of the collaboration between the two organizations. The initiative aims to elevate standards of sportsmanship across all major European competitions—spanning Rink Hockey, Artistic Skating, and Speed Skating. By introducing the White Card initiative to a broader international stage, both entities seek to publicly recognize and reward exemplary acts of fair play, fostering a positive, inclusive, and educational environment for athletes, coaches, and spectators alike.
