WSE Trophy will be awarded in Italy this weekend

This weekend kicks off the first of the five European Final Four events scheduled for the end of this rink hockey season. It starts in southern Italy, in Giovinazzo, one of the legendary places of Italian rink hockey, where some champions who made International hockey history were born. The “PalaPansini” venue, with 2,500 seats, will host the second edition of the WSE Trophy Final Four, featuring two Italian teams, Giovinazzo and Sarzana, one Portuguese, Valongo, and one French, Noisy. A year ago, the spanish Alcoy triumphed in the first edition in Follonica (Italy). For Sarzana, it’s the sixth time in a European Final Four (4 WSE Cup, 1 Champions), for Valongo it’s the second European Final Four (1 Champions) after winning a Continental Cup, while for Giovinazzo it won a Cup of the Cups in 1980 and in 1981 was the finalist in Champions, while for the French from Noisy it’s the debut in a Final Four. The first match will be played on Saturday at 17:00 (CET) between Noisy and Sarzana, followed at 19:30 by Giovinazzo-Valongo. The final is scheduled for 12:00 on Sunday. Four referees from Spain for the Final Four: Inigo Lopez Leiton, Albert Barba, Ivan Gonzalez and Oriol Perez. All the games will be broadcast live on World Skate Europe TV and on the website wse.sidgad.com with the official results.
